Mothers are epitome of beauty, created out of man for procreation and rearing of children. Mothers are embodied with love, generosity and sacrifices to nurture the development of a child until, such child becomes an adult.
The roles mothers play in our lives cannot be over emphasized, especially in a setting where it is compulsory for every woman to have not just a child but children to show her fruitfulness backed with the saying of the bible – “BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY”.
Mothers are guardians of their children’s welfare and have explicit responsibilities to provide for them materially. They are household managers, providing food, nutrition and family planning to an extent in the greater world.
Socialization is said to begin from the home and the first encounter a child has is with the mother, communication begins from her and she makes us capable of coping with harsh realities of life , selflessly sacrifices her ambitions, goals and ambitions and desires to make us reach our full potential and takes care of us till her last breadth. Mothers diligently perform their duties , ensure our well being.
Mothers should be in our thoughts and prayer every day, showers of love and respect should be given to her everyday because today she is with us and tomorrow might be different.
“We are born of love; Love is your mother”.
